Hey There!
Welcome to my life :)
(yes... all my pictures are this awkward!)
My name is Sydney! Native New Yorker, who is stumbling through life trying to find my place with a smile on my face and lots of love in my heart. Man that sounds corny, but it's true. I started this blog on a whim, to remember memories and share with those I love.
A few other tidbits:
- I have no idea where my parents came up with the name Sydney, but I do know that my middle name came off a plaque on the hospital wall.... real clever
- I read the end of books before I read the actual book, not even ashamed!
- I don't like Ice cream or baked goods.... Though I LOVE baking.
- I think I am bigger than I am. No, not like fat wise. More along the lines of little Chihuahua on the big bad streets barking at the Great Dane walking past! I am 5'4 and have chicken legs... Can you see what I mean? Problem people!
- Harry Potter is my favorite series, I've read the books 13 times. It's just that good, if you try to deny it then you just haven't read them!
- I try my best to do something kind every single day, even if its just smiling at strangers or striking up conversations with the person on line behind me. Sometimes that doesn't go over well, but Hey! Can't blame me for trying.... right?!
- Hugs are my favorite thing EVER! I hug everyone, it's my thing.
- I kind of hoard my magazines, I mean not like for real, but I always assume I will remember that super important article or recipe and will need to refer back to them. It never happens!
- I have a knack for making really comfy beds... It's true! Ask anyone!
- Wikipedia is my best friend!
- Dexter is the love of my life, aka my puppy. He is a cocker spaniel who more closely resembles a black bear cub... lets just say he hasn't missed many meals.
- Christmas is my favorite season, I think Christmas should be year round! Who wouldn't want marathons of A Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street & It's A Wonderful Life?
- I sing constantly, and no I do not have a good voice!
- I am not very good at curbing my cravings.... if I want it and it's there, well I will probably eat it. It's an issue!
- High heels are my weakness. No not like those 3 inch heels we are talking 5 or 6 inch here people! It's a serious business this shoe collection of mine!
- My all time dream is to start a Bakery/Coffee shop company.
- I will do just about anything to make someone happy. Even if that means throwing myself under the bus or dropping everything to drive 7 hours to give them a hug.
- I have a kitty Button! He's fierce and such a cuddle bunny.
- I can't sleep without a fan on. I use one all year round, so much better then
those nature sounds!

- I believe that if I change one life for the better while on earth then I can die happy and fulfilled.
